WHO I AM

"A writer is a world trapped in one person"

Victor Hugo

Twenty years ago I left behind a doctorate in chemistry , a job at the Science Museum in London, months of volunteering in Kosovo, Chiapas and Nicaragua. I wasn't satisfied yet.

I had just crossed the Pyrenees on foot: 882 kilometers, 39 days and 15 kilos (less) later I was wondering how I could embrace everything I still wanted to do in one lifetime.

There was only one way: to write! Only then I could be an astronaut, a vampire, a miner, an imperial dragon… all in the same week! And at the same time I would tell my real adventures, from hitchhiking in the salt desert of Uyuni to staying with the Bushmen of Botswana, from trekking on the peaks of the Himalayas to the tragic shipwreck off the coast of a far Philippine island.

That's how I become a screenwriter. Dylan Dog  joined Donald Duck and his friends, then television comes and finally cinema. My scripts have been awarded, then translated into more than ten languages, I enthusiastically dedicated myself to teaching the script.

From comics to graphic novels, from videogames to animation series, my writing knows no boundaries. I continue to travel the world with a curious gaze, always hungry for new landscapes.

Inside me many stories, characters, emotions, fantastic universes germinate… and I want to share them with you!
